Abstract: After discussing the design and applications of different periods of radiotherapy equipment collimator, a variable field collimator is proposed by use of mechatronics design and principles of robot technology. The characteristics and principle of this equipment is explained in detail. The equipment room is increased and the treatment of specific tumor place is improved.
