Abstract: Under the condition of O ≤ (R, G, B) ≤ 1 , a set of explicit formulas for designing TV test signals of primary-color encoder are derived in this paper, Which can meet the demands of TV test signals with different types and encoding modes. The programmable designing technique illustrated in this paper can be chosen as a preferred new method of television test signal generator in the near future.
