Chaos Electromagnetism-Like Algorithm for Constrained Optimization Problems

  • A chaos electromagnetism-like method is proposed for the constrained optimization problems. The multi-objective technique is adopted to transform the constrained problems into unconstrained bi-objective optimization problems for constraints handling. The computation scheme of the charge and the force exerted on the particles were presented for the new model. In order to accelerate the convergence speed, the chaos optimization is incorporated to improve the particles. Simulation results on benchmark problems demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can find the global or approximate optimal solution quickly. Compared with the simulation results of existing algorithms, the new method is a competitive optimization method.

Abstract: A chaos electromagnetism-like method is proposed for the constrained optimization problems.
