Abstract: The phase resetting from pre-stimulus to post-stimulus alpha wave (8~13 Hz) in eight healthy subjects is studied. The six parameters of single trail alpha wave are computed and analyzed:pre-stimulus amplitude and phase angle, post-stimulus amplitude and latency of first positive and negative peak. The amplitude relationship between pre-and two post-stimuli can be described by a cubic polynomial model. By using the method of outlying cases test in linear regression, we can quantitatively analyze the degree of phase resetting. The results demonstrate that there is partial phase resetting from pre-to post-stimuli in the band of alpha wave.
