PSK/PPM Hybrid Radar Signal

  • From the point view of strong detection, high resolution, low probability of intercept(LPI) and anti-jamming, searched a new type of radar signal PSK/PPM which composed of Phase Shift Keying(PSK) and Pulse Position Modulation(PPM), presented the waveform construction and deduced its Ambiguity Function(AF). Theory analysis and great amount of computer simulation indicate that this composed signal has high BT value. To single modulated signal PPM, hybrid signal PSK/PPM's BT value is enhanced Q times; to PSK signal, it's increased M times. At the same time it is easy to generate this kind of signal with even more complexity.
