Design of Wavelet Domain Median Filter

  • Thresholding methods were widely used to signal denoising. This method is nearly optimal in many signal space. But this method only suit to white noise or wideband noise and invalid to impulse noise. Based on Lee local filter, wavelet domain median filter is introduced. Typical signals were processed by the new filter and mixed noise was removed effectively.

Design of Wavelet Domain Median Filter

Abstract: Thresholding methods were widely used to signal denoising. This method is nearly optimal in many signal space. But this method only suit to white noise or wideband noise and invalid to impulse noise. Based on Lee local filter, wavelet domain median filter is introduced.
