Optical Power Analysis of Space Laser Link in TDRSS

  • This paper introduces the properties of optical power budget in TDRSS's laser communication links. For various condition of different transmission distance and divergence angle, the attenuation in space is studied in detail. According to the requirement of TDRS system, the transmitting power is also specified in the paper.

Optical Power Analysis of Space Laser Link in TDRSS

Abstract: This paper introduces the properties of optical power budget in TDRSS's laser communication links. For various condition of different transmission distance and divergence angle, the attenuation in space is studied in detail. According to the requirement of TDRS system, the transmitting power is also specified in the paper.
