Multi-Period Ambiguity Function of LFMCW Radar Signal

  • The multi-period ambiguity function of LFMCW radar signal is given, and compared with single-period ambiguity function. Some properties of difference with single-period is discussed, these properties include the multiple-single period PAF,cut along the principal axes and volume limitation. The computer simulation showed that Doppler resolution being higher, but delay resolution is not improved as number of periods increases.

Abstract: The multi-period ambiguity function of LFMCW radar signal is given, and compared with single-period ambiguity function.
