Abstract:
Services offloading and fog/edge computing have provided novel paradigms to solve the congestion and delay of cloud network. However, most of the current researches on services offloading consider offloading the running computing services from mobile phone or cloud network to fog/edge computing network. But in the process of offloading, it will consume additional resources and affect the user’s experience. Therefore, in this paper, when a service function chain (SFC) is deployed, the effective online game decision is used to offload and deploy a part of the virtual network function (VNF) of each SFC into fog/edge network, so as to reduce the traffic load and congestion of cloud network and meet the delay requirements of users. And then, this paper proposed an algorithm based on elay-minimum service function chain deploying of services offloading and online game (DSFCD-SOOG), it combines effective online game and services offloading decision and deploy the SFCs in cloud-fog computing networks to reduce the end-to-end delay of SFC. Finally, the superiority of the DSFCD-SOOG algorithm is verified in terms of resource efficiency, time efficiency and blocking ratio in SFC deployment.
