Abstract:
Topology control is one of the most important techniques in wireless sensor network, and also one of the hottest research topics. However, most topology control algorithms fail to take communication interference into account. In this paper, a more practical definition of communication interference is introduced first, and then a new topology control algorithm is proposed. At last simulation and analysis is given, which shows by careful choosing the communication range of nodes, redundant communication links can be significantly reduced and communication interference can be minimized, meanwhile the network's connectivity is not jeopardized.
