Abstract: By employing the symmetric property of the uplink and downlink channel, a transmit signal processing technique is proposed, which can lead to spatial division multiple access (SDMA) for time divisionsynchronous code division multiple access (TD-SCDMA). With space and time two dimensional signal, a matrix is constructed, and the null space of the matrix is utilized to realize SDMA. The complexity of this technigue is analyzed. Without any changes in the user equipment, this technique can increase the capacity several times with moderate complexity.
