Wireless Cellular Locating Based on TDOA and DOA in Uplink

  • 摘要: 针对传统的双曲线定位和圆周定位方法至少需要3个基站参与定位的问题,提出了一种在WCDMA上行链路中利用移动台信号到达基站的时间差和角度信息来实现对移动台定位的优化方法。该方法最少需要两个基站信息实现定位,降低了系统实现的复杂度,在相同数量基站信息下比单纯利用移动台信号到达基站的时间差方法精度高。最后给出了利用该实现方案和算法在WCDMA环境下的仿真结果和性能分析。

     

    Abstract: This paper proposes a new method of the wireless cellular location based on the time difference of arrival and the direction of arrival in the uplink of WCDMA system. The traditional method based on the hyperbola and the circle needs at least three base stations to get the location of the mobile station, but the new method gets the location of the mobile station by only two base stations, which reduces the complexion of the system. The new method is more accurate than the traditional method that only bases on the time difference of arrival. In addition, the performance of the proposed wireless cellular locating method is evaluated through simulations.
