利用端点方向修复数字笔划的一种方法

A Method of Repairing Figure Strokes Based On End-point Direction

  • 摘要: 针对图像识别中数字笔划断裂而造成特征提取困难的情况,提出一种利用耦合端点修复笔划断裂的方法。以机动车牌照图像为例,从图像预处理、端点抽取、耦合端点判别、笔划修复等步骤分步进行了论述,给出了仿真实验结果,并对修复前后的数字图像进行了比较。

     

    Abstract: To deal with the feature extraction difficulty caused by figure stroke break or stroke fusion in image recognition, a method based on coupling end-point direction is put forward to repair the broken stroke. The following steps of image pretreatment, end-point extraction, distinguishing coupling end-point and repairing figure are illustrated taking the number plate image recognition as an application. And the results of simulation experiments are given, before-repaired and after-repaired figures are compared.
