Blind Deconvolution Algorithm for Overlap-Blurred Images Based on Coded-Shutter Model

  • A coded-shutter model is proposed to approximate the nature of overlap-blur, which often arises in the criminal detection forensics work. A blind image deconvolution algorithm is designed based on the coded-shutter model. The experiment results show that when tested on the real overlap-blurred photographs, the proposed algorithm can restore the information of interest in the blurred images effectively.
