Low-Complexity Signal Detection Scheme for Spatial Modulation IFDMA Systems

  • Spatial modulation is a recently proposed novel multiple antenna transmission technique. This paper considers the design of multi-access for spatial modulation. Spatial modulation and interleave frequency division multiple access (IFDMA) are combined for multi-user communications and a QR channel decomposition based signal detection method is presented. Furthermore, a simplified detection method without influence of the transmission performance is proposed to reduce the computational complexity. At last, the effectiveness of the proposed spatial modulation IFDMA detection method is proved by simulation results.
