Application of EM-TRM Imaging Technique in Complex and Multi-Scattering Environment

  • In this paper, by combining the electromagnetic time reversal mirror (EM-TRM) technique with ray-tracing method, we design an imaging model for the detection of concealed target in the complex and multi-scattering environment. Based on the imaging model, the multi-scattering effect of the environment is demonstrated, and EM-TRM imaging experiments are carried out for single and multiple targets. Results show that, in the complex and multi-scattering environment, EM-TRM technique can image the concealed targets with high resolution and contrast.
