Abstract
The existing analyses of multi-tone jamming (MTJ) are mainly focused on the frequency hopping system, and assume that the jamming signal is time-invariant. In this paper, the bit error rate (BER) performance of the time division-synchronization code division multiple access (TD-SCDMA) system is analyzed in the presence of time-varying multi-tone jamming. The practical scenario where MTJ signal experiences time-varying Rayleigh fading channel is considered. The effect of the Doppler shift on the performance is studied. The BER expression is derived and validated by computer simulations. The simulation results show that the performance degrades as the Doppler shift increases. The study provides theoretical basis for jamming and anti-jamming technology.
