Spectrum Trading Algorithm of Cognitive Radio Networks Based on Dynamic Cournot Game

  • To solve the spectrum allocation issue in cognitive radio network, a novel spectrum lease trading algorithm based on dynamic Cournot game is proposed. Considering the change of the spectrum market capacity and the spectrum value for secondary users, this algorithm models the spectrum lease trading as a dynamic Cournot game. Depending on the demand and supply for spectrum trading, users adjust the leasing price and profit to maximize the utility and complete the spectrum allocation. The method is analyzed and the performance is compared with the static Cournot game algorithm. Simulation results illustrate that the proposed algorithm has the higher spectral efficiency.
