Measuring the Permittivity of Cell Culture Dishs

The complex permittivity of cell culture dish is required to be measured when we do the bioelectromagnetic researches in cell's level. A dielectrical measurement system that is assembled by the Fabry-Perot resonator and scalar network analyzer is presented. By this system,the cell culture dish that made from glass or plastic was measured. The permittivity of plastic cell culture dish is closer to air than glass cell culture dish and the loss tangent of plastic cell culture dish is also smaller. The result of the experiments proved that the plastic cell culture dish is advantaged for millimetric wave transmission.
