Abstract
Polyphase discrete Fourier transform (PDFT) filterbank is an efficient structure for channelized receiver, but its flexibility is limited by the fixed relationship between decimating factor and channel number. In this paper, a flexible and efficient channelized receiver structure is proposed with weighted overlap-add filterbanks. The shift of window is replaced by the shift of input signals. DFT is employed after weighting, overlapping, and adding. The structure gets rid of the fixed relationship in PDFT structure, but realizes same functions. So the proposed structure is a generalized form of PDFT structures. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the new structures.
