Texture Mapping Based 3D-Reconstruction of Medical Images

A new method of volume rendering based on texture mapping is presented. The technique significantly improves both performance and image quality of the 3D reconstruction. The method realizes 3D reconstruction for 2D medical images sequence. On commodity PC, can be obtained by the proposed method, high image quality at a rate near realtime.
