Abstract
This paper considers a cold standby system consisting of two different units with t delay repair. Assuming that the working life, the delay repair time and the repair time are general distributions, some main reliability quantities, such as MTTFF, availability and average failure number, are analyzed by Markov renewal process and Laplace transform. Some important reliability results are obtained.
