Design of FIR Notch Filters Using Bernstein Polynomials
In this paper, Bernstein polynomials are used to derive an explicit formuIa for the coefficients of linear phase FIR notch filters which are maximally flat at ω=0 and π. The approach is relatively simple and can be used to design the filters with specific notch frequency and bandwidth. The frequency response of the FIR notch filter presented in this paper is very close to its ideal frequency response.
