Study of High Speed Digital Fiber Optic Transmission System

In this paper, a new designing scheme of gigabit rate digital fiber optic transmission system is introduced including multiplexer, encoder, decoder, demultiplexer, scheme design of transmitterand received, access and recovery of digitized video and multirate service, and high speed PCB design. Low cost G-Link chip is used in the system according to characters of digital fiber optic transmission. The experimental results show that the scheme is feasible and favorable.
