Investigation of A Novel Millimeter-wave Integrated Power Combiner

A novel millimeter-wave E-plane hybrid integrated power combiner using Gunn diode chips is presented, and its designing method is also introduced. By combining E-plane suspend coupled strip with finline transmission line, this two chips power combiner working at Ka-band has 550 MHz mechanical tuning bandwidth within which the maximum power is 305 mW and minimum power over 200 mW at the output waveguide port.
