Study on Teeth-modification of Ball Spline Pair by Finite Element Method

Ball spline pair is a new type of translation pair, used for large torque transfer with low resistance. Under the action of torque, the teeth of ball spline pair will be deformed, which results in stress concentration and reduce the life of Ball spline pair The deformation regulation and amplitude of the teeth are studied by means of finite element method, and a teeth modification method to eliminate load concentration is presented.
