Analysis of Asymmetric Cyclic Transmission Process in ATM Access Network

In this paper, a new queuing model(FCFS) is set up for the support of asymmetric Cyclic polling model with gated service in discrete time transmission process in ATM access network. According to the imbedded Markov chain theory and the generating function, mathematical analysis and computer simulation are developed in this paper The results of computer simulation show their concordance with the theoretical analysis.
