Network Connection in Automated Testing System

This paper introduces the application of network connection in automated testing system to connect instruments and instruments or computers. Why network connection is used in automated testing is explained and the selection of protocols is analyzed. Three main modes of application and methods of connection are also investigated, This paper also introduces the function and characteristic of GPIB-LAN controller which is an important connectivity equipment between GPIB instruments and LAN.
