In this paper the overview of SOLACOS(German free-space laser communication system),the developing plan and key techniques of SOLACOS are presented SOLACOS accomplishes a computer simulation system and a breadboard in laboratory based on available technology The key technolique for free-space laser communication between satellites are determined and developed by computer simulation and experiments on breadboard.
