Receiver's Diveristy and SVD-based Noise Reduction

A novel approach of receiver's diversity for receiving echo signals scattered from a radar target is proposed, and application of singular value decomposition (SVD)to noise reduction is explored. This approach is used to enhance the ability of detection of a high resolution radar (HRR) when a traget is in a noisy environment, in which the ability of detection declines.Simulated data are given and the results shows the efficiency of this method in the reduction of noise.
