Quantitative Analysis of Effects of Various Factors on SP Log
In this paper, the numerical mode matching theory and surface integral equation method are applied to analyze the response of the SP log.The factors include concentration of connate water and mud filtrate, bed depth, borehole diameter, invasion etc.The method can be used to analyze the SP response in coaxial 2-D arbitrary inhomogeneous formation.
