Effects of Quantum Faraday in Violet and Blue Light Magneto-optical Materials

  • The effects of Bi-substitution on the faraday angle of violet and blue light magneto-optical materials are studied by using the quantum theory method.The curves of faraday angle as a function of frequence are analzed.The results show that the DyIG materials have two peak valves in 350 nm and 550 nm,which is very useful for the high density MO recording.
