Research and performance optimization of a differential spatial modulation algorithm based on set partitioning strategy

  • 摘要: 差分空间调制(DSM)是一种多天线技术,通过在该技术中融合集分割策略,提出了基于集分割策略的差分空间调制算法。该算法引入冗余码设计,重新设计了 DSM 系统发射端的符号调制规则,实现了集合分割的操作,既保持了频谱效率的提升,又通过增强同一信息块内所有调制符号间的关联性,显著增强了编码增益。通过进一步设计天线激活矩阵,对在仅使用两根发射天线场景下的系统性能进行了优化。仿真结果表明:所提算法相比于传统DSM系统,在相同的频谱效率下,展现出更低的误码率。

     

    Abstract: By integrating the set segmentation strategy in differential spatial modulation (DSM), a multi-antenna technology, a differential spatial modulation algorithm based on the set partitioning strategy is proposed. This algorithm introduces redundant code design, redefines the symbol modulation rules at the DSM system's transmitter end, and implements set partitioning operations. This approach not only improves spectral efficiency but also significantly enhances coding gain by strengthening the correlation among all modulation symbols within the same information block. By further designing the antenna activation matrix, the system performance is optimized in the scenario where only two transmitting antennas are used. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm, compared with the traditional DSM systems, exhibits a lower bit error rate under the same spectral efficiency.
