Abstract: The application of wearable computing in industry domain is a hot research topic. A brief review is first given to the research status of wearable computing in some typical industry application domains. Then, the paper discusses and analyzes some key problems which have an direct impact on the popularization and application of wearable computing, including wearability and usability, wearable human-computer interaction, software architecture and support pattern. At last, a novel workshop information environment pattern -“Aware Workshop” and wearable on-site task assistant system, which aim at the application of wearable computing in industry domain, are presented.
