High Luminance and High Resolution MAO Phosphor Screens Used in 12.7 cm Projection Cathode Ray Tubes

摘要: 采用离心沉淀法将红、绿、蓝荧光粉分别沉淀在无色透明多晶MAO衬底材料上制作的荧光屏应用于新型红、绿、蓝三色CRT投影管中,该投影管的对角线尺寸为12.7 cm。采用多晶MAO材料制成的新型投影管具有高亮度、高分辨率、高对比度、长寿命的显著特点。用红、绿、蓝三只12.7 cm新型多晶MAO投影管组装成的129cm新型背投电视实验样机具有峰值亮度输出大于2 000 lm,水平分辨率大于1 800电视线(投影管),对比度大于150的特点。

Abstract: A new kind of MAO phosphor screen has been successfully developed for the 12.7 cm projection cathode ray tube (CRT) by depositing phosphor powder on MAO faceplate with centrifugal sedimentation technique. The five inches MAO projection CRTs have high luminance, high resolution, high contrast, and long life. A 129 cm rear projection TV incorporation these new CRTs show a luminous output more than 2 000 lm, a resolution of more than 1 800 TV lines(CRT), a contrast of more than 150 (Write/Black).
