虹膜定位算法研究

摘要: 针对目前已有的虹膜定位算法的局限性,提出一种粗定位和精定位相结合的方法.根据对人眼部的生理特性和采集得到的眼部图像进行分析,先利用灰度投影量的分布特点进行粗定位,再利用变圆模板精定位.实验结果表明,该方法提高了准确度和速度,有效地解决了目前算法处理包含大量脸部区域的虹膜图像时会遇到的困难。Abstract: A two-step iris location approach combining coarse location and fine location is presented to ameliorate the limitation of the existing iris location algorithm. First, the gray scale projection approach is used for estimating the edge of iris. Then precisely locating iris's edge with circular edge template. Experiment shows that this method can overcome the difficulties that the existing iris location algorithm likely to encounter if required to deal with images that contain broader regions of surrounding face than the immediate eye region.
