摘要: 以Photonic Transmission Design Suite仿真试验平台为基础,对EDFA和RFA的特性进行了较详细的研究,设计了一个3 dB带宽为4.25 THz、光信噪比在193.1 THz附近达38.5 dB、增益起伏小于1 dB的带宽为3.75 THz的混合光放大器,并将其应用于一个4信道的DWDM系统中,经传输230 km后,每路信号的输出光信噪比达到33.14 dB,输出光功率达到4 μW,误码率达到3.8×10-10,获得了较好的效果。Abstract: The paper studies the characteristics of EDFA and RFA in detail on the base of emulation experiments using PTDS, which is a simulation platform for optical transmission system emulation. A 1dB-gain-flatness-bandwidth reaching 3.75 THz, 3dB-bandwidth reaching 4.25 THz and OSNR at 193.1 THz reaching 38.5 dB hybrid amplifier comprised of a distributed Raman amplifier and an EDFA has been achieved and is applied in a 4-channel DWDM communications system. After 230 km transmission, the output signals are excellent. The output OSNR reaches 33.14 dB, the output power reaches 4 μW and the BER reaches 3.8×10-10.
