An New Segmentation Method of Cell Image Based on Logical and Morphological Information

  • 摘要: 在MATLAB软件中结合细胞逻辑、形态特征提出了一种图像分割和计数的新算法,这种算法的主要思想是通过逻辑运算、拉氏变换和数学形态学运算的处理,首先提取细胞图像中的逻辑信息,再根据细胞特有的圆形、椭圆形形态特征,将细胞从整个背景中进行分割处理,并根据逻辑信息、形态特征实现了血细胞图像的简单计数,实现了特定血细胞的单独分割,其算法简单、可靠。

     

    Abstract: A new, simple algorithm of counting and segmenting cell image is suggested in this paper. It is based on the feature of cell's logical and morphological information. By using of mathematics morphological logical operation and laplacian filter, the method is realized with the MATLAB 5.10. Specially, first, it gets the logical and morphological feature of blood cell image with logical and morphological operation. Then, distinguishes the segmented cells from their background according to this feature, and at the same time this method can segment special blood cell from its neighborhood. Particularly does this method can count the number of blood cells, however, this counting is not very accurate. In this article the segment effect of this algorithm is tested with blood cell image and the result is desirable. It is very useful for cell image where the cells don't contact closely.
