电磁波在非均匀等离子体波导中的传播

Propagation of Electromagnetic Wave Along Waveguide Filled with Inhomogeneously Plasma

  • 摘要: 利用麦克斯韦方程和线性理论推导了电磁波在径向非均匀未磁化等离子体波导中传播的色散方程,对其传播特性进行了讨论,对等离子体在径向具有线性和二次抛物线分布的色散曲线进行了数值计算;发现了电磁波相对于均匀等离子体分布的一些变化规律:HE模式的电磁波截止频率降低,EH模式的电磁波截止频率升高。

     

    Abstract: Using Maxwell(s equations and the linear theory, the dispersion equations of wave propagation along the waveguide filled with radially and inhomogeneously unmagnetized plasma are deduced in this paper. Its propagation characteristics are discussed. The wave dispersion curves under radially linear and parabola plasma distribution are calculated quantitatively. The principles of variation compared with homogeneous conditions are discovered:the cut-off frequencies of HE waves decrease, while the cut-off frequencies of EH waves increase.
