摘要: 以圆柱波导、平板摇摆器为模型,导出了自洽的注波互作用三维非线性方程组。并考虑了电子初始速度零散的影响,在此基础上编制了相应的计算软件。通过数值分析的方法研究了自由电子激光器(FEM)的饱和效率、频带宽度等高频特性和摇摆器锥化设计对延缓饱和、提高效率的作用。Abstract: A set of coupled nonlinear differential equations of the FEM amplifier are derived in three dimensions for a configuration consisting of a cylindrical waveguide and a planar wiggler These equations include the effects of electron momentum spread and wiggler taper governing the self-consistent evolution of TE mode and trajectories of an ensemble of electrons. The initial conditions are chosen to model the adiabatic injection of a cylindrically symmetric electron beam. Computer program based on these equations is made and nonlinear effect including saturation efficiency and bandwidth is analyzed.
