Abstract: This paper presents a new part-filled sample rectangle waveguide sensor for tasting medium and high loss dielectric material. The electromagnetic field solutions are obtained. The expressions for the relationship between the material's electromagnetic parameters (ε、μ) to and the sensor network's S-parameters are developed. The numerical calculation results are given.
