Optimum Detection for Optical PPM Sampled Signal

  • 摘要: 研究了光脉冲位置调制全数字接收机的取样信号的最大似然解调及其性能.对接收到的任意脉冲波形给出了解调算法和差错概率上界。以此为基础,对容易实现的最大累加计数判决算法,讨论了各种参数对其解调性能的影响,其结果对设计和实现全数字PPM接收机是有益的。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the maximum-likelihood detection and its performance are studied for the sampled signal in all digital receivers of optical PPM communications. The algorithm of demodulation and its upper bound of error probability are given for any pulse shape received. Especially, the suboptimum decision algorithm of maximum accumulate count is discussed with a view of easy implementation. The effects of various factors are investigated. These results are helpful to designing all digital PPM receivers.
