Abstract:
Based on distributed energy-efficient adaptive clustering (DEAC), this paper presents a new WSN node-location-irrespective topology protocol, named SEENRT. In this protocol, node location, sleep, residual energy, and cost of WSN are sufficiently considered. This protocol uses the residual energy information to average the burden of the node energy consumption and uses neighborhood-relative information and node sleep to reduce coverage redundancy and WSN energy consumption. The result of test shows that SEENRT protocol is more effective in energy efficiency.
